This Italian ex-designer blue fabric offers a lighter, softer alternative to traditional wool coating. Made from a 50% wool and 50% alpaca blend, it has a gently brushed surface and a warm, airy handle without feeling heavy. At 261gsm, it sits comfortably at a mid-weight, draping well and suiting softer coat styles, jackets, wraps and layering pieces.
With a 135cm width, its straightforward to work with when laying out patterns. The alpaca content brings added warmth, loft and a subtly plush finish. Produced by an Italian mill, its a refined option if you want warmth without bulk and a clean, well-balanced finish.
